Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 10, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Intellibits (“Intellibits,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares personal data in connection with the website located at intellibits.io (the “Site”), through which Intellibits presents its services, including hosting for custom websites built on Cloudflare EmDash, free and paid website templates, and related services. By using the Site, you acknowledge the practices described in this Policy.
This Policy applies to visitors to the Site and to people who contact us through it. It does not govern websites that we host or build for our customers; the collection of personal data on those websites is governed by the privacy policy of the customer that operates each one.
Summary
- We do not sell your personal data.
- We share limited personal data only with the service providers we need to operate the Site, and only to the extent necessary for them to perform those services.
- Our third-party service providers include Cloudflare, Resend, Google, and Stripe, as described in Section 5.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide to us
- Contact form. When you submit the contact form, we collect your name, email address, any subject line, and the content of your message.
- On-site assistant. If you use the chat assistant that appears on the Site, we collect the messages you submit and the responses generated. The assistant is operated by Intellibits on our own AI platform. Please do not submit sensitive personal data through the assistant.
- Newsletter. If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address.
Information collected automatically
When your browser connects to the Site, our hosting provider automatically processes technical information that is necessary to deliver and secure the Site, including your IP address, browser and device type, the pages requested, the referring URL, and the date and time of the request.
Cookies and browser storage
The Site does not set advertising or analytics cookies. We store your display preference (for example, light or dark mode) in your browser’s session storage, which is cleared when you close the browser tab. The on-site assistant may store a session identifier in your browser so that a conversation can continue as you move between pages.
2. How We Use Information
We use personal data only for the following purposes:
- to respond to your inquiries and send you a confirmation that we received them;
- to operate the on-site assistant and provide responses to your questions;
- to send the newsletter, if you have subscribed;
- to operate, maintain, and secure the Site, including detecting and preventing spam, abuse, and excessive requests; and
- to comply with applicable law and to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
Where the law of your jurisdiction requires a legal basis for processing, we rely on your consent (for example, newsletter subscriptions), the performance of steps you request (for example, responding to your inquiry), our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Site, and compliance with our legal obligations.
3. We Do Not Sell Your Personal Data
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data, and we have not done so in the preceding twelve months. We do not disclose your personal data to third parties for their own marketing purposes.
4. How We Share Information
We share limited personal data only in the following circumstances:
- Service providers. We share personal data with the service providers we need to run the Site, such as hosting, security, and email delivery. Each provider receives only the data required to perform its service for us and processes it on our behalf and in accordance with its own privacy commitments.
- Legal requirements. We may disclose personal data where required by law, regulation, legal process, or a valid governmental request, or where necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Intellibits, our users, or others.
- Business transfers. If Intellibits is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, personal data may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Policy.
5. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services. Each is governed by its own privacy policy, which we encourage you to review.
- Cloudflare hosts and delivers the Site, protects it against abuse, and sends the emails generated by our contact form. Cloudflare processes the technical information described in Section 1 and the content of contact form submissions. Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
- Resend stores newsletter subscriber email addresses and delivers newsletter emails. Resend Privacy Policy.
- Google. The Site is built to support Google Analytics and Google advertising products. As of the “Last updated” date above, neither is active, and the Site does not transmit your personal data to Google. Before enabling either service, we will update this Policy and, where required by law, request your consent. Google Privacy Policy.
- Stripe. If we offer paid products, payments will be processed by Stripe. Stripe collects your payment details directly, and we never receive or store your full card number. Stripe provides us only with the information needed to fulfil your order, such as your email address, the item purchased, and the payment status. As of the “Last updated” date above, no payments are processed through the Site. Stripe Privacy Policy.
6. International Data Transfers
Our service providers may process personal data in the United States and other countries whose data protection laws may differ from those of your country of residence. Where required, such transfers are made subject to appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses.
7. Data Retention
- Contact form submissions are delivered to our business email inbox and are not stored in a database on the Site. We retain that correspondence for as long as reasonably necessary to address your inquiry and maintain business records.
- Assistant conversations are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the assistant and respond to you.
- Newsletter subscriptions are retained until you unsubscribe.
- Technical request data is retained by our hosting provider in accordance with its own retention schedules.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), validation of form input, and limits on the rate of form submissions. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of your personal data; to object to or restrict certain processing; and to withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal. Residents of California and other U.S. states with comparable laws may also have the right to know what personal data we collect and to opt out of its sale. Because we do not sell personal data, there is nothing to opt out of. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.
To exercise your rights, email us at hello@intellibits.io. We will respond within the time required by applicable law and may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. You may unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link included in every newsletter email. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
10. Children’s Privacy
The Site is not directed to children under the age of 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
11. Links to Other Websites
The Site may link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those websites, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. If we make material changes, such as enabling a new category of third-party service, we will update this page before the change takes effect.
13. Contact Us
If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy or our handling of personal data, please contact us at hello@intellibits.io.
